Venue:

WeLearn, 2nd floor, Maneeya center

Date & Time
Friday 10 August 2018
From 09.00 - 16.00

What is this course?
Technologies are getting more obscure nowadays. We tend to ignore how stuff works and take them for granted. This course will help students uncover the idea of how machines around us are put together and operate, yet learn about e-waste.
We give students a bunch of discarded hardwares e.g., printers, computers, stereos, fans, air-conditioners, notebooks and let them tinker. Students are encouraged to destroy, disassemble, and take some parts to re-create some kind of moving mechanism. By the end of course, each student will get to present their creation to each other, instructors, and parents.

Who should join this course?
High schoolers who are interested in technologies and want to learn more about parts of electronics, to expand creativity, and to recycle unused electronics to come alive again.
